Regarding XDN:
What is XDN?XDN is the developer network for
those serious about .NET development. What do we mean by serious?
Developers who go beyond what comes in the Microsoft box and look to
outside training, books, and third party developer tools and products to
take them to the next level. We know that going beyond what Microsoft
offers is essential, but sometimes it just isn't easy to know where to
turn. A membership in XDN is your shortcut to entering the world of
serious .NET development.
What Are the Monthly Benefits?
Each month, as a member of the XDN, you'll receive the following minimum benefits:
XDN Professional Membership ($299; Renewal $249)

- Each Month XDN Professional members will receive:

Do You REALLY Mean Two FREE Commerical Products Each Month?You read it right, each month we offer our XDN Professional
members COMPLETELY FREE full license to two commercial products. We're not
talking about something a junior .NET developer cooked up in an afternoon,
we are talking about a REAL commercial product. And we're not talking
about products no one wants to buy. I'm talking about products sold each
and every day for real money by one of our vendors. One that is fully
supported by that vendor. One that you can upgrade to the next version
when the time comes.
How Do I Get My Two FREE Products Each Month?All you have to do is place an order on our website for the
zero cost item, and we'll send you what you need to download your FREE
products, and no money changes hands! We'll even provide you an invoice
showing the item provided to you at zero cost to satisfy your auditors, if
you have need for that.
More Specifically, What Kind of FREE Products Should I Expect?Our monthly FREE product will typically be sold
separately but might also sold in a suite on subscription. So consider
these components "a taste" of the full subscription. Clearly if you like
the component and see value in it, our vendors think you might also see
value in buying their subscription. But sometimes it might be a product
that is about to be upgraded. Or it might just be a product that I've just
able to convince the vendor to give away because I can be pretty
persuasive when I speak to our vendors about providing benefits to our
customers.
How Will I Be Notified of the Special Offers?Each month we'll send you the XDN Email Newsletter
containing information about your subscriptions and the member-only
special offers for the month. The benefits contained in the monthly
newsletter are offered ONLY to XDN members, so you can be sure that these
benefits are genuinely special.
I'm not an XDN Professional Member. Can I still get the Email Newsletter?
Sure, though you won't be eligble for the FREE Product or Special Offers. Just click here to
subscribe.
How do I KNOW these Offers are REALLY Special?
Typically you find the same "special offers" month-in and month-out everywhere you look. Not so with our XDN Professional Special Offers! We provide you with special deals that you won't find ANYWHERE else, and I mean this. Because the XDN is a well-defined program focused on a special class of customers, our vendors are willing to provide an incredible discount or other unique benefit.
Why won't
vendors make these offers elsewhere? First, we require exclusivity for an
XDN offer. More importantly, since you are part of a small exclusive group
of highly desired customers, our vendors are willing to provide a
significantly lower price while still being able maintain their normal
prices for the vast majority of potential customers. Vendors rely on
upgrade revenue from existing customers as much as they do sales of new
licenses, and if you become one of their users they believe you are likely
to upgrade when they release their next version.
How Long Is My XDN Membership?
Your XDN Professional membership is for one calendar year starting on the first of the month following the month in which you purchased the membership; you can renew that membership for another year for only $249. See below for more details on purchasing XDN
Professional.
How Can I Purchase XDN Professional?
You can purchase a one-year XDN Professional membership for only $299, and you can renew that membership for only $249. Click here if you would like to purchase.
I'm Not Yet an XDN Professional Member! Can I Still Qualify for the Special Offers?Only if you purchase (or receive
enough product purchase credit to receive) the XDN Professional
membership. Once you do, you will become eligible for the following
month's special offers.
Will All XDN Professional Members Qualify for All Special Offers?Usually, but not in all cases. Our plan is to always
give XDN Professional members three (3) special offers and one (1) free
product each month, but we might offer additional specials or free
products that are limited in number. In those cases it will be incumbent
upon you to place your order as soon as you get your XDN email newsletter.
What Is My XDN Membership #?Actually, its
not a number, it is your email address. It is the email address you
provided us when you activated your XDN Basic membership or purchased your
XDN Professional membership.
Can I See My XDN Account Status Online?Unfortunately, not yet. We made the decision to launch the XDN
now rather than wait until we had our website updated to support account
login with specific XDN accounting information on our website. However, we
do plan to offer this in the future.
Can I Order More Than One of a Given FREE Product or Special Offer?
No and Yes. An XDN Professional membership generally limits your requests to one copy of the FREE Product and one of each of
the Special Offers; our vendors sponsor these special offers and don't
allow us to offer multiple units to the same person. However, they have no
problem if we uniquely identify each developer so they can license each
actual user. If you place a multiple unit FREE or Special Offer order on
the web, just specify each user's name, phone number, email address, and
address in the Notes section.
Can My Friend/Colleague Join XDN?Absolutely!
To receive the special offers of XDN Professional, they must purchase the one-year membership.
I Don't Have Time for This. How Do I Unsubscribe?
Though we think everyone will love these offers, we don't want to annoy you, so if you really prefer not to receive the newsletter, you can simply click here and unsubscribe from the XDN newsletter. You will still be able to view the special offers for the month on our XDN home page and, if you are an XDN Professional member, purchase the items in the offers.
I'm a Reseller Who Purchased from Xtras.Net for My Customers. Don't I Qualify?
At the moment, No. We have no way to confirm the developers who would receive these offers will be the same ones who originally purchased those products, and our vendors won't support that. However, we are willing to consider sublicensing the program, so if you are interested, click here
