For several years now, Xtras.Net has been making a lot of developers happy by giving away rewards like XBOX 360's and Ipod's with the purchase of developer tools like MSDN Premium, but for as long we've been offering these rewards, we've gotten the following questions:

Can you offer more than just XBOX 360's and Ipod's?
Can we earn rewards for buying things other than MSDN Premium?
Can you offer free components and tools as rewards? What about deep discounts?

That's where the DevRewards program comes in. Joining the DevRewards program is free. All members earn points from every purchase - every component, every tool whether it's an MSDN Premium or a component from one of our leading publishers.

So what can we use these DevRewards points for? Well, we have the old standby's - XBOX 360's, Ipods, but we've also added laptops, LCD TV's, and many others - let us know what you'd like to see - these rewards are for developers - let us know what you would get excited about. The biggest change is that you can use the DevRewards points for free or deeply discounted components - you can redeem for coupons worth $100-$500 off your favorite tools and components.

The DevRewards points can be redeemed immediately or saved from purhase to purchase where you can accumulate points for the rewards you really want.

If you're a registered user at Xtras.Net, we've just given each of you 5,000 points to get this started. For a limited time, anyone setting up an account on Xtras.Net will also receive 5,000 points to start things off.

The Rules

How Points Are Awarded - DevRewards points are awarded and posted to your account whenever an order is processed. DevRewards point values are listed on the web page for each product we carry.

How Points Are Redeemed - You may redeem your DevRewards points just by adding promotional items from our rewards catalog to the shopping cart and placing an order for them. DevRewards points will be deducted from your account when the order is processed. Depending on where you live in the United States you may be responsible for any applicable taxes based on applicable Federal, State, or local laws.

Please note: Once you have redeemed points for any qualifying product and the product has been shipped the product is yours and points will not be reinstated. If a redeemed product becomes defective it will be repaired or replaced under its respective warranty which shall commence from its shipment date.

This is a value-added program that represents no cash value. Xtras.Net reserves the right to change, alter, and or discontinue the program at any time. Bonus DevRewards points may be offered from time to time for the purchase of specific products and or promotions. Points remain available for active accounts. Active accounts make at least one purchase or redemption within the current or past calendar year. Only products purchased on or after November 14, 2007 qualify towards reward points.
